Hello!
Kristian is a mission-driven product designer from California. With an interest in the social impact of design, he pays special attention to the effects visual design has on user behavior. After graduating with a BFA in Graphic Design from Cal Poly Pomona, he worked as a graphic designer for a clean energy nonprofit in San Diego, CA. He has a strong passion for environmentalism and social justice and explores that within his design whenever possible. With a Master of Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University, he supports Checkr’s mission of building a fairer future by designing technology to create opportunities for all as a Product Designer.
Aside from design, he loves coffee, dogs, and french fries. His hobbies include playing video games, cooking, baking, and figure skating.
